Amnesty Month Subheaders Text

McAllen Public Library (MPL) is excited to launch its annual Amnesty Month, offering patrons the opportunity to return overdue MPL materials without incurring fines. From April 1st to May 4th, MPL will run a month-long initiative aimed at reclaiming overdue books, CDs, DVDs, and Blu-Rays.

During Amnesty Month, patrons can return any overdue MPL items to any of MPL's three locations, regardless of how long it has been overdue, and have fines removed from their account. This initiative applies exclusively to currently checked out items. Additionally, families can enjoy fun Star Wars themed photo ops at Main Library throughout the month of April. Join us at Main Library on May 4th for family-friendly activities and take pictures with your favorite Star Wars characters.
