Día Subheaders Text


McAllen Public Library invites you to the ninth annual Día celebration, honoring El día de los niños/ El día de los libros (Children’s Day/ Book Day). Taking place on Sunday, April 28, 2024, from 2-4 PM at Main Library, this vibrant event promises an engaging lineup of activities for children and teens.

Highlights include author presentations by Monica Velasquez and Gaby Tijerina, free books for children and teens (while supplies last), music, performances, snacks, crafts, community partners, and more!
