McAllen Public Library is proud to announce the return of the South Texas Book Festival (STBF), taking place October 20-31, 2025, at Main Library. This annual event celebrates literature, storytelling, and culture with a full week of author sessions, family activities, and engaging programs for readers of all ages. The festival will feature nationally recognized and local authors, bilingual storytimes, author talks, panel discussions, and book signings.
On Saturday, October 25 from 11AM-5PM, the Main Festival Day will offer an exciting lineup of authors, book giveaways for youth, food trucks, performances, and activities for the whole family.
This year's theme is "Celebrate our Roots & Stories." STBF is free and open to the public and is made possible through the support of our generous community partners.
