The Teen Advisory Committee is hosting a Pet Donation Drive! Help support animals waiting for their forever homes by donating pet food, toys, blankets, or other pet supplies. Every donation makes a difference and helps local shelter pets in need.

Spend the morning with adoptable cats from Palm Valley Animal Society, beverages from Kreative Grounds, and a pet-themed movie. Every cat adopted during the event will receive a free customized engraved pet tag. While supplies last.

Pet Week is part of STIBF Presents, a lineup of special programs leading up to the South Texas International Book Festival on Saturday, October 24, 2026 at Main Library. The festival's 2026 theme is “Pages to Possibilities.”
