Building a Stronger, Healthier Community
One Step at a Time

It's time to get healthy with our Community Health Fair on Saturday, August 2nd from 10AM-1PM at Main Library on 23rd Street and Nolana Avenue. This free, family-friendly event provides an opportunity to learn, participate, and take proactive measures toward improved health in an engaging setting. This year’s theme is "Building a Stronger, Healthier Community."


Attendees will be able to obtain free health screenings, visit informational booths to interact with healthcare providers, participate in a variety of activities, and receive giveaways that promote a healthy lifestyle.

Blood Glucose, Blood Pressure, BMI, Dental, Visual, Liver Scans*

*must be fasting for liver scans, which are first come, first serve

Outside Mall Area
Vitalant Blood Mobile
Vitalant is a nonprofit blood service provider supporting over 900 hospitals nationwide. Each donation can help save up to three lives. Their fully-equipped bloodmobile will be on-site, offering:

• Whole blood and Power Red donations
• Health screening and post-donation care
• Fast, safe, and convenient service staffed by professionals

VA Mobile Unit
The VA mobile medical unit provides local veterans and their families with:

• Health screenings and wellness checks
• VA benefits information and enrollment assistance
• Referrals for ongoing care and follow-up services
• Resources for mental health, housing, and community support

Scavenger Hunt for Kids
Explore, learn and have fun all day with our self-guided Health Fair Scavenger Hunt! Complete health-themed activities, find clues and discover great books.

Children's Storytime Room
Just Dance for Teens
Get moving with this fun, music-filled gaming experience using the Nintendo Switch. Dance along to upbeat tracks from "Just Dance" — no experience needed!

This active, interactive program promotes movement, coordination, and fun for all. Players rotate with each song, so everyone gets a turn to dance, cheer, and stay energized!
