About the Trail
Take a walk along our landscaped walking trail at Main Library featuring 10 pictorial guideposts corresponding to the 10 subject areas of the Dewey Decimal System.
For the convenience of our patrons, ample parking areas are available in front of the Main Library, making access to the Dewey Decimal Trail easy and convenient.

Keep an eye out for Marty the Library Cat hidden along the trail. Marty appears in different spots.

How it Works
Follow the trail markers throughout the exterior of the library and discover how books are organized by subject using the Dewey Decimal System. From animals and art to space and technology, each stop gives you a peek into what you’ll find in that section of the collection.

Whether you’re learning the system for the first time or just enjoying the visuals, the trail is a great way to navigate the library and spark curiosity.
