Complimentary Study Rooms

Every MPL branch provides complimentary study rooms for individual or group study sessions. These rooms can be reserved online and utilized for a maximum of 4 hours each day. Further information can be found below.

Terms and Conditions for Study Room Use:

• Reservation Policy:
  - Main Library: Reserve up to 24 hours in advance.
  - Lark / Palm View Branch: Reserve up to 2 weeks in advance.
  
  

• Usage Limits:
  - Maximum of 4 hours per day.
  
  

• Room Capacity:
  - Main Library: 14 study rooms, accommodating up to 4 or 8 people.
  - Lark / Palm View Branch: 2 study rooms each, accommodating 8 or 12 people.
  
  

• Room Guidelines:
  - Beverages: Covered beverages are permitted.
  - Food: Not allowed in study rooms.
  - Lighting: Lights must remain on at all times.
  - Punctuality: Reservations will be forfeited if late by more than 15 minutes.
  - Breaks: Up to 15 minutes permitted. Inform staff if you need a break.
  
  
• Video Conferencing Booth
  - Only available at Main Library.
  - Can be reserved for a maximum of 4 hours per day, 24 hours in advance.
  - This is not a Study Room and can accommodate only 1 person.
  - Food and Beverages not permitted.
